Urbana

This series started started when I wanted to show the commercialism that is consuming our culture and destroying the landscape and environment. I would photograph ugliness in cities like the traffic and advertising signs and reduce them to graphic images. However I began to see beauty in the abstracted graphic designs and so defeated my purpose in a way. The series includes images of cities, traffic and addictions rampant in our society.
